In the twentieth number of IG Magazine June / July, Hideo Kojima has confirmed that there will be a Metal Gear Solid 5

“There will be a MGS5 with the new Fox Engine, but what we showed was not the in-game play, or something like that, says Hideo Kojima. It was only a demo that we had developed internally and that we released because the lighting and all interactions with the environment had fooled everyone. ”

“About Metal Gear Solid 5, I can tell you two things, Kojima continues. There will be much question of infiltration, espionage and convince people to give you “a favor” in the last MGS. I liked the idea of social interactions of Deus Ex: Human Revolution but we’ll see. And if I was saying, the female ninja public relations officer, who is behind the door I carve up into pieces. So better that we meet again when the time comes to talk about Metal Gear Solid 5. ”

“Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance never claimed to be a Metal Gear Solid. This is not a game on our beloved Solid Snake. It is a spin-off that tries something different. We have not yet finished with Solid Snake, despite the fact that I wanted to let him die at the end of Guns of the Patriots. ”

About Dan Adcock

Avid gamer who enjoys the older nostalgic titles as much as the newest AAA releases. Remakes from the classic 8 and 16 bit era are some my absolute favorite titles. I also enjoy experiencing new IP's on each and every platform, especially when the creators give the game an artistic look and unique presentation never seen before. I've been lucky enough to start out gaming on the NES. Since this rebirth of the industry, I have witnessed the evolution of gaming, both in its incredible growth in overall popularity and as an entertainment medium juggernaut. We are quickly approaching the next generation of gaming and I couldn't be more excited for the almost limitless possibilities that await.
