While First Person Shooters are a dime a dozen these days, 2014 looks to be a terrific year for some of the most exciting one’s we have seen in a while. Whether you are gaming on previous or next generation hardware, there is an impressive collection of FPS’s for just about every player out there. Here is our list for the most promising First Person Shooters of 2014.
Halo 5 (official title unknown) is an upcoming Halo universe project in development by 343 studios. At E3 2013, Microsoft teased a new Halo entry with an impressive cinematic trailer. Since E3, 343 and Microsoft has hinted towards a new Halo game built specifically for the Xbox One. In January, Microsoft confirmed for Halo fans that the next entry in the series will definitely be released in 2014. We can’t wait to see what 343 does with Master Chief on the next gen platform.

Wolfenstein: The New Order
Wolfenstein: The New Order is the newest game to be announced by Bethesda Softworks.. It is being developed by MachineGames, a studio formed by former members of Starbreeze Studios.
Set in Europe during the 1960s, Wolfenstein: The New Order takes place in an alternate history wherein the Nazis won World War II. The game sees the return of longtime Wolfenstein protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz, who is on a mission to infiltrate and overthrow ruling Nazi forces.
In Dying Light, a first-person, action survival horror game, players must use everything in their power to survive until the morning’s first light in a vast open world filled with danger. During the day, players will traverse an expansive urban environment overrun by a vicious outbreak, scavenging the world for supplies and crafting weapons to defend against the growing infected population. At night, the hunter becomes the hunted, as the infected become aggressive and more dangerous. Most frightening are the predators which only appear after sundown.
Set in a distant frontier torn apart by war, Titanfall gives players the freedom to switch between fighting as elite assault Pilots or agile, heavily armored, 24-foot tall Titans. The advanced warfare of tomorrow gives you the freedom to fight your way as both elite assault Pilot and agile, heavily armored Titan. Online gameplay is core to the Titanfall experience, as fast-paced multiplayer action is combined with heroic moments from traditional campaign mode.
